I have Vista Home OS and recently my DVDRW stopped burning to discs, although it will still read them. I have tried Nero, WMP and the OS. I have removed the offending item and replaced it with a Samsung Super Write master, however, this also fails to write to discs. I have swapped the drives around, then changed master and slave, without any joy. Can anyone give me any guidance? Yours truly, ready to explode!!!!

Do you have a system restore point before the problem started. Have any updates been installed around the time this occured?

My computer right click drive -properties- recording tab -tick enable Cd recording on this drive.

Sorry for the late response. System restore didn't work; there is no box to tick in the recording tab except to eject after burning. Still puzzled!!!!
