Factory image

I have a problem with my desktop computer which is running Windows Vista. I accidently deleted the factory image that was in D drive. This now means that I can't reset to factory settings if anything goes wrong with my computer. Thankfully I also have a laptop so I am not without a computer.

At the moment I have not been using my desktop but would like to get this problem solved so that I can use it. Can anyone suggest what I should do please?

You are generally advised to create recovery discs when you first get a PC.
