Extract audio files from dvd - PROBLEM

I have a tutorial DVD (distant learning thingy) that I want to convert into MP3 or similar. As you can imagine the idea is to separate audio and burn it on my iPod which will unable me to listen while commute.
I am using DVD Extractor 3.3.2. Unfortunately the program can not see the DVD. I test the program with some other DVDs and works perfect.
I tried other DVD ROM just in case but still nothing. Tried to explore the DVD it self and found one icon (description: Macromedia Projector; version: 9.0.0.383; date…; size…). All I can do is Open which will launch program.

Bottom line is this possible to be done this way? I would appreciate any constructive advice.

Many Thanks!
