External HDD not same as Internal drive.

I have just connected an old 6GB hard drive via a USB caddy. This is working fine but it tells me the old HDD is FAT32 and my Internal HDD is NTFS. Does this matter as the disk is working fine.

Try copying a saved file from the ntfs drive to the fat32 drive and then see if it opens the same on fat32 drive. From memory I think it will in which case it should be ok.Let me know.

No it does not matter. I have 200Gb in four Partitions all Fat32 on External But it works OK on my Win98se Fat32 and WinXP Ntfs comps just the same only thing is the old 98se is slower as it's only USB1.1
