hi all,
Could you please tell me, ive purchased an 80gb external hard drive to put all my music n videos on to save hd space,but when i try to cut n paste a home made video from my videos to the new external hd its saying "cannot copy nve capture(the vidoe) there is not enough space try deleting one or more files to free up space" but the external hd is an 80gig drive and the video is onlt 8.gig so why wont it cut n paste to the drive?? any help would be truly appreciated,

If you haven't done so already, have you formatted the external drive for NTFS? If its formatted in FAT32 there is a limit on file transfers of 4GB.

Will that work if NIGEY is using the drive via the USB port?

From the START menu, press RUN.

Type in "Command"

When the DOS prompt appears use the Convert command.

CONVERT volume /FS:NTFS [/v]

volume Specifies the drive letter of our external drive (followed by a colon),

/FS:NTFS Specifies that the volume to be converted to NTFS.

eg if the external drive is F then

convert f: /fs:ntfs

The drive's name shown in My Computer. For example mine is called FHD-2PRO
