External Hard Drive

Hi folks, is it possible to 'password' protect an external hard drive? At the moment, it plugs in via usb and you can access the drive as normal, but what I want is something similar to when Win XP starts up and prompts you for a password. I've tried right clicking the drive but there's nothing about passwords anywhere.

We may be able to help, but many current models have this facility built in.

so:- Try the Manual and then the Manufacturers Web Site
