Exporting video

  Windsor 17:48 25 Feb 05

I am using xp and do not have a video out socket on the graphics card.
Can anyone tell me of another way to export an edited video to a VTR using composite video - possibly there is a card I can plug in? I can export the audio OK but not the video.
I would be grateful for any help.

There are 2 ways, either upgrade your graphics card (Cheapest way)or buy one of the dedicated video transfer systems that link via the USB socket.

I have obtained a new graphics card with a 4-pin S-video output socket but no phoneo video out socket.
I have obtained a cable with 4-pin S-video and a single video phono plug supposedly to connect to the video in socket on my old VTR. But it does not receive any signal from the computer. Any ideas anyone please.

Thank you, Shanty. I found that the new graphics card driver was not installed!!
