Exporting Outlook Express Files

I've found a folder on my C: drive (C:\Documents and Settings\Garry\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{C08A9A39-1978-42A1-BD43-44824A6449AC}\Microsoft\Outlook Express) that contains lots of files for OE. Viewing them with notepad, the contants match the content of my e-mails from their various folders.

If I import these files (*.dbx) to the appropriate folder on my clean installation of XP HDD, should all my emails appear as they had come in on that HDD?

Mant thanks, Garry.
