I have a mailing list of about 60 people in my Outlook Contacts who are in a Group for bulk mailing purposes. I know how to export the whole of my Contacts to another machine but cannot find out how to export just the required Group. It must be easy - please!

not sure if this will help but I think groups are called distribution lists in outlook.

You can send a distribution list to another machine/user etc..by

Open a new email, click insert, click item, click Contacts and pick the distribution list you want to send (they tend to be in bold type), do OK and this will put the distrbution list as an attachment in the email

hit send and that should do it.

Thanks. Will try but presumably that will still mean he will have to enter the email addresses individually unless he can import the attachment into his email program.

He simply needs to click on and drag the attached distribution list in the email into his contacts folder.

Then use just like any other distribution list / group.
