When i am connected to the internet i receive the message from my pc 'Windows socket erro: Only 9one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted (10048), on API 'bind'(under the heading 'Explorer'). i think this may be linked to my desktop icons being missing when i boot up my pc. if i run c:\windows\explorer.exe from the task manager my icons reappear but the above happens when i log on to the internet. please can you help me

Your PC needs explorer to be running all the time and should start with windows as it is how you navigate around windows.
