explorer has caused an error in <unknown>

hi there recently moved house so i had to change my internet connection from telewest cable broadband to bt broadband while surfing after sometime i get explorer has caused an error in (sometimes its unknown and sometimes its kernel32.dll)i`ll then loose all my icons in systray except sounds i`ll still be connected to the internet but i`ll lose my browser then it will be hard to shut windows down bt says its nothing to do with their connection im completely stumped ive tried everything running on windows ME
