Expanding Start Menu Jump List

  tallboy 22:25 12 Mar 15

I'm trying to increase the number of 'last used' programs in the Start Menu Jump list. However, in the Customize area of the Start Menu (Taskbar and Start Menu Properties) the option to increase the number of recent programs to display is 'greyed out' at a big fat zero.

Anyone any ideas how I can make this function operational so that I can increase it to 10-12 progarms to display?

right-click on the Start button and select the Properties command.

When the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog box appears

click the Customize button.

When the Customize Start Menu dialog box appears, locate the Start Menu Size section at the bottom and use the spin button to change the number for the Number of Recent Items to Display in Jump List setting
