Expanded folders in Windows Explorer.

Each time I open Windows Explorer, all the folders are collapsed. It just shows the CD drives I have.

I then expand the folders I wish to view, complete the task and then close the window with the folders still expanded.

When I open it again I am back to the collapsed folders view and I have to go through the whole process again.

How can I get my PC to remember how I want to view the folders part of Explorer?

Thank you.

to open Windows Explorer, right-click and select "Properties"

In the "Target" box I have the following;

C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,D:\My Documents

This opens with the "My Documents" folder expanded, (which I have on the D: drive) You should be ablse to adjust your details to suit.

(I have Win 98se. I assume it's the same for other flavours?)

I hope this helps,

Regards,

Simsy
