Exif information confusion

Is the ?exif? information on digital photographs just related to printing?
As in the higher the resolution the better quality the print will be?

I have 3 digital cameras that I use.
An EOS 10D: X resolution 180 x Y resolution 180
Fuji Finepix 2800: X resolution 72 x Y resolution 72
Olympus C220: X resolution 144 x Y resolution 144

TIA

Simon

Hi Simon7063. The exif information tells you all about the original photograph. If you have Irfanview on your computer (free from click here), open a picture, click on the "i" button and then on the "EXIF info" button and you will see a detailed list relating to all aspects of how the photograph was taken.
