Executable files

I am trying out a Trojan scanner and when I do a full scan with it I get a host of Red Cloured files:- Warning: Executable files with double extensions found. Open Office Org.
Are these anything to worry about as I have re- downloaded and re-installed Open Office after getting rid of the resident OO and still have the same results?

Files with double extensions are files with 2 full stops in their name and some viruses have these names. If the file it found was called openoffice.org.exe or something like that, then it would detect it as having a double file extension. These are nothing to worry about as it's just the way some programs name their files. If you find any with strange names such as ones that have a lot of full stops in their name, then they could be a virus but your antivirus program should pick these up anyway.
