Hello Clever people,

Please help me. I am supporting an exchange 2000 server. The partition is out of space. I tried partitionmagic 8 as well as Acronis Disk Director. Cany install any of them, to little space. I want to reload the server. What do i need to back up in order to save the emails? Do I export the mails first on the client machines as .pst and then just import after the reload? I need some direction here please.

There is only 10 mailboxes, it is an old server coming down from one of the bigger branches of the same firm.

Thank You.

If you use Outlook Express You need to backup DB files.

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Identities\ Expand to Outlook Express

That should be DBX not DB
