Help...I want to 'tile' 2 or more excel documents like I can with Word, but every time I open a new excel sheet it just 'sits' on top of the previous one. When I close the sheet, they both close and disappear. I'm using Office XP pro. Any ideas?

On the Excel menu bar click on 'Window'.

Then 'Arrange'.

Then 'Cascade'

thanks Alan, I did try this but the new sheet simply replaces the other one no matter what size pane I'm looking at. weird.

Try 'Vertical' instead of 'Cascade'.

If this fails to work - I cannot think of any other cure.

Alan, you're a genius -it works!
My mistake was to keep 'right-clicking' on the taskbar instead of the excel 'windows' button.
well done and thanks.
