I am trying to add a VBA user form to show progress when running a long macro. However when I try to load it the frame of the form appears but neither the background colour or the fields show until the macro has run. The form is set to non modal and I have not turned off the screen re-fresh. I have tested the macro on different PCs and I get the same result. I am using Excel 2003. does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

Not sure without seeing the code.

However see click here 'Control the LED Display in the StatusBar' which I think is much neater than using a modeless Userform.
