Excel Upload to OneDrive Failure

I am running Office 365 on a Windows 7 machine. Whenever I try to save a macro-enabled Excel workbook to OneDrive, I get a message to the effect that the upload failed because somebody else had altered the server copy. That is nonsense as nobody else accesses the file. However, I get the choice to keep my copy or the server copy, and after I have selected "keep my copy" it uploads fine. I have googled the issue and it seems to be a common problem, although I don't think that Microsoft have acknowledged it. I was just wondering whether anyone on this forum has run into the same problem and, if so, has a solution been found?
