Excel Two Windows always open

Whenever I open a particular workbook, two windows (Numbered 1 & 2) open.
This occurs since I deliberately opened a second wndow on it for comparison display purposes.
I have tried closing one before closing the other and closing Excel (And I have done this in all possible sequences) as instructed in "Help", but the problem persists.
Any further suggestions, please?

Window > Arrange and select a view so that you can see both instances. Then click the X to close the second window.

Tx, But as stated, I have tried that/

Silly question but have you saved the workbook after getting rid of the second window?

Tx VoG
I re-opened the file, closed No2 and then saved again. This did sort it.
I suspect, now, that I may have last saved it when the two windows were open.
Thanks
