Hi
I have a sheet with the following, Col A is names, COL B is category ie L for Ladie, G for GENT, J for Junior etc, COL C is their score generated by a formula, COL D is their overall place on the list generated by the RANK function.
What I want to do is create sub lists of the competitors by category and rank that category, (eg all the ladies)have them ranked and listed in order with the highest score first.
Whats the best way to achieve this?
All ideas gratefully received
Thanks

I would think that a Filter or an Advanced Filter click here would be a suitable approach.

never thought of filtering before.
Will explore the site and see if it works for me.
Will report back.
