I have a list of numbers in column A. How do I highlight each cell when the number shows up more than once (conditional formatting I think). For example if the number 123 appears more than once I want those cells to turn red. Thanks.

In A1 use the Conditional Format 'Formula Is':

=COUNTIF(A:A,A1)>1

and apply your formatting. Then in A1 click the Format Painter button ('paint brush') then select all relevant cells in Column A to copy the format.

That doesn't seem to be working or maybe its a bit complicated for me!!
