Excel line graph

I want to be able to show the results of an experiment as a line graph in Excel.

I can do it on paper but as I have an interactive whiteboard I want to be able to show the class what they should have without actually wasting paper.

When I use the chart wizard in Excel I can only get charts showing two lines, and this is not what I want.

I want the mass of CaCO3 on the x axis and the mass of CAO on the y axis, with only one line.

Mass of CACO3 Mass of CAO

5 3
10 5.5
15 8.5
20 13.5
25 14

Can anyone help please.

Try this:

5 10 15 20 25
mass of CaO 3 5.5 8.5 13.5 14

The formatting of the forum doesn't allow it to paste properly, but you get the idea.

This looks better.

mass of CaO
5 3
10 5.5
15 8.5
20 13.5
25 14

Just leave the first column's heading blank.

Select both columns of data. Click the Chart Wizard button, select Scatter chart, Select the sub-type with points and lines.
