A wee query here.

I have 1000s and 1000s of number in a format of 12-34567-89123-0 in an excel file.

However i want to delete the last number in all of these cells(in this case the the '0') if possible by using a formula.

Can anyone help?

the formula that you need to miss out the last digit is;


this says, in English;

Look up the LEFT and LEN functions in help for an explanation.
