I am on Dial Up (50 hours use per month free), and want to subtract the Hours Minutes Seconds left from the 50 hours for each day of the month,
See this example –

June Time on line Time left
1 1:30:10 48:30:50
2 1:00:10 46:30:52

to

30 1:20:30 0:00:00 *

* NOTE – On day 30 I could have used more than 50 hours during the month, so I could do with an “in the red” indicator, or something.

Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks David

Sorry but the example is squashed, should read -

June 1 Time on Line 1:30:10 Time left 48:30:50

June 2 and so on

June 30 as above

Any help much appreciated
David

I've uploaded a sample file click here

If you exceed your quota the cell will display ####### because Excel will not display negative times if you are using the default 1900 date system. If you want to flag up negative values in another way you can switch to the 1904 date system (Tools > Options) and set a conditional Format to display negative results in red (or whatever).
