Is there a formula that will allow me to convert the pixel size of a cell to either metric or imperial measurments, to show the true size whem printed.

but bear in mind that if you were to change the zoom range, the pixels ratio changes.

I'd love to see the solution to this myself!

I'm not sure about this but you could try the following (I'm assuming Excel xp):

Open the VBA Editor (Alt+F11) and in the Help box type pixels.

Select the PixelsPerInch property and have a read.

Printers use dots per inch, so if you can match up the pixels with the dots on your particular printer it might work.

You have to open the Excel workbook in a browser though.
