Excel cell 'headings'

Is it possible to type headings on a sheet so that it occupies 2 lines?

For example if I make cell A1, B1, C1 etc double the normal height and keep the font size the same can I change the text from:




So far I have found no way to do this, the text always sits at the bottom of the cell regardless of font size.

Try Format, Cells, Alignment, Wrap Text.

Try Format/Cells/Alignment and check the 'Wrap text' button.

Or enter the 1st word then hold down Alt and press enter then enter the next word.

Goto Format, select Cell, select the Alignment tab and tick Wrap text.
