Excel - Adding and "Hiding" a picture

  AFoxyLady 21:35 06 Aug 06

I know there is a way to insert a picture into a cell or comment in excel, so that when you hover over the cell the picture is shown.

I am trying to set up a list for suppliers with stock codes prices, and pictures of stock.

Can anyone help at all?

Many thanks

Select the cell where you want to insert the comment. Then

1. Insert | Comment

2. Click on the Comment Box, Right Click on one of the Handles

3. Click on Format_Comment

4. Click on Colors and Lines Tab

5. Then from the Fill | Color DropDown, click on Fill_Effects

6. Click on the Picture Tab

7. Click on Select_Picture

8. Navigate to select your picture, select it

9. OK your way out

10. Voila! ... Picture in your Comment Box
