Could somebody help me with this problem.

I want to open a Excel workbook in a set cell no mater which cell is active when its saved and closed. I have no problem doing this from another Excel sheet via a hyperlink but not from a desktop icon.
(eg adding this on to the target .xls#'Assembly & Logistics'!J8)

ALT + F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor, Insert > Module. Paste in tyhe following:

Sub Auto_Open()
Application.Goto reference:=Worksheets("Intro").Range("A1"), scroll:=True
End Sub

(change Intro and A1 to what you want.

Close the Visual Basic Editor.

First bracket is sheet name second is cell ref.
