excel 2007

how do you tell it to insert dates in a column in increments of 7 days i used to be able to select it on my earlier version by selecting format cells - series but i cannot find how to do it in 2007 version i must be missing something or am i thick lol

I don't think that there is an equivalent.

In A1 enter 01/01/2008

in A2 enter 08/01/2008


Then select A1 & A2, hover the cursor over A2 until it turns into a + then left click and drag down.

OK then on the Developer tab select Visual Basic, Insert > Module then paste in

Sub FillDates()
Range("A1:A2").AutoFill Destination:=Range("A1:A16"), Type:=xlFillDefault
End Sub

Close the code window then Macros, highlight FillDates then click the Run button.
