My PC bootd up and the size od the Pic is ok for a few seconds then it goes huge and I have to resize the screen. Does anyone know how I can stop this, please

Sorry! I couldn't resist that one.

What do you mean exactly? What are your Windows settings? (Desktop, Properties, Settings). How do you resize the screen? Do you physically adjust the picture with wheels, or use an On-screen control panel?

Sorry If that doesn't help much, but you haven't told us much to go on.

Its not actually my PC its aproblem a friend is having. He says he switches on the PC it boots up ok and the display settings are fine. Then after about 15 seconds the screen goes black and the display is suddenly huge.

Firt thing to check is the Display drivers, make sure he is using the correct ones and they are up to date.

make sure the settings are not outside the scope of the monitor as this could cause permanent damage.
