The install prog appears to looking for a file and cant find it???
Any ideas Folks
You help will be greatly appreciated

Don't use it but it would apear you need to
Open the reg and go to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem
NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation, you will see the DWORD has a value of "1"

You will need to change the above value to 0 and reboot.

If you are not familiar with the registry editor or not comfortable using
it, you can also do something else:

The installer file is actually just a selfextracting zip file. Use WinZip or
a similar program to extract the contents and then run the installer program
by clicking on Setup.exe

Due entirely to the patience and knowledge of spikey chris the problem is solved.
Thanks very much

In order that others with similar problems may try this solution!!.
I unzipped the automatic setup file that was downloaded from the makers site, and actually actioned the setup exe and when asked to agree the default location I didnt but created a separate folder and then continued with the install and it completed successfully.
HHope that is of use to others?
