eTrust anti virus

My new coputer has come with eTrust anti virus software pre installed,from computer associates I believe. Anyone else using this prog., and is it ok????

- Been using E-trust since it started, you are right, it was computer associates. Liked that so much I elected for the paid version when it first started. No problem at all except for rather long updates.

I have some files mostly in the docs and settings folder on drive C that AVG cannot open and earlier eTrust av program couldnt either. What's going on????

Sounds like you have that new medion then?

eTrust is fine...

But I would use Avast.

What did you do in the end about antivirus for your Medion? I have bought one too. I did try installing Norton Systemworks 2003, but couldn't get it to register through the wizard. The technical bloke at Medion got me to use the disc to restore it to it's factory setting. Now wondering whether to chance reinstalling it or try something else.
