Sniper Elite 4 review: Headshotting Nazis has never felt so good
I wonder if anyone can give me some help/ advice?
I have been building my first website (a blinds shop) for the past month and have been teaching myself as I've gone along. I have been using a trial version of dreamweaver cs3. I have finished all my pages and am now at the point where I need some sort of software to put a get a quote page on my site. I need for my customers to be able to input measurements and styles to produce a price quote. I have been looking online for help but dont seem to be able to find anything by googling for it. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Also I want my customers to be able to click on their choice of colour, shape, etc.. and put in their measurements and how measured leading to a buy now/ submit button, what I need to know is will an e-shop software do all this for me or is it something I need to do manually myself?
I hope this makes sense!
Thank you for your reply. Yes, our prices are based on sizes and features etc.. I have no knowledge of php is this easily learned? If not is there a simpler way of achieving this?
Thanks for your help!
Only moderately so. The web is full of PHP evangelists who write about how "really easy" it is to earn PHP, but don't expect it to be like CSS or even JS.
Get a good book (or more than one, preferably) if you want to try it. PHP is the only way to do this, whether you do it or whether you get a pro to code it for you. Off the shelf shopping cart software is OK, but it won't be able to do this specific task unless it is very configurable, but then you would be likely to need an understanding of PHP to do that...
Thank you again for your help. I think I'l have to find a pro to do this for me then as i'm only just learning html! Before I took on this project I knew absolutely nothing and as I said have been teaching myself as I've gone along.. I really don't know if I could learn enough to confidently do this, especially as it entails other peoples money and details.
Off to find a pro! :)
Use the UKWDA site to find a PHP specialist in your area and compare quotes from a few of them. For a specialist, it should be a simple job. click here
