does anyone know what 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.THE SYSTEM FILE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR RUNNING MS-DOS AMD MICROSOFT WINDOWS APPLICATIONS'
MEANS I RUN XP AND THIS HAS JUST STARTED TO OCCUR ON OLD AND NEW SOFTWARE. I;VE TRIED SYSTEM RESTORE BUT TO NO AVAIL. ANY IDEAS?

with windows cd in drive -
or copy AUTOEXEC.NT from windows'Repair Folder' to Sytem32 folder ;)
