Error message when closing image files

A New Zealand transport site (on a free server) managed to over-ride my 'no pop-ups' protection and ever since I have spasmodically an error window appearing when I close image files. It is headed NSCSRVCE.EXE and informs me that it cannot find ccL30.dll but that re-installing the software may solve the problem. I checked and NSCSRVCE.EXE seems to be a Norton System Works file. I can see ccL30.dll in this file when I check the file with Notepad. It takes 6 clicks to get rid of the error window - and it's driving me mad!
Has anyone any suggestions for getting rid of this pest?
