High spec XP desktop - suddenly developed this problem - on starting up loads pages ok - after 10 - 15 minutes or so it takes ages to come up with an error message unable to load pages - it applies to any pages or emails - when restarted it works OK again for a time then the message comes up again - it drives me nuts - I am completely at a loss what to do or where to look -help please

jarani - if this has just happened recently you could try a "system restore" - restore to a date prior to the problem occurring.

Try command prompt and type in ipconfig /flushdns then press enter on the keyboard.
it should tell you the dns cache has been flushed if so reboot and see if it makes any difference.

Thank you both for responding - System Restore seems to have worked - thank you - jarani
