Error Message accessing e-mails Pipex

Pipex is my ISP. I've not changed anything on my computer but this morning when I try to access my e-mail using Outlook Express I get an error message 0x800CCC0E. Is anyone else having problems with Pipex this morning please.

The exact message reads:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: ' (1)', Server: '', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Do you have antivirus or anti-spam software?

Antivirus which scans emails to be more specific in the first case.

I use Avast anti-virus and have Zone Alarm firewall.

That's a `busy server` error, disable Avast email scanning temporarily and try again, if no luck try later.
