Error Guard

I have a pop up which seem to have come from Microsoft informing me that there are errors on my PC. If I click to correct them, the above wants to download. Can it be trusted, and is it useful?

microsoft will never tell you that your computer has a problem, therefore it will never send you something to download,

What they do is, they will send automatic updates, and if you are running Win XP SP2 you should get a message on your notification area notifying you of those updates. These yes you can trust them...
