error 403 website requires you to log in??

Hi everybody, I seem to have a problem accessing a number of websites recently and get the 403 forbidden message. This seems to particularly be when trying to view a pdf file which is part of a website. Any ideas of the problem?

using windows xp home, IE 7

Reinstall Adobe Reader, or install the free Foxit Reader click here instead. G

thanks for the idea crossbow, i have reinstalled adobe but the problem is still there

I looked thriugh many forums & it seem that a lot of people have had that problem. many of them siad Onspeed were the problem. I contacted them online help. & it has been sorted.So maybe contact whatever site your having trouble with or do what I did with Onspeed.

Thanks for the thoughts laterunner I have now solved the problem which was with zone alarm set to stop mobile code control!

I have this trouble too but don't know how to resolve it. How did you do it, Butter Fingers?
