I've been trying to install 4oD on my vista computer but this error message comes up.

Error 2738. Could not access VBScript run time for custom action.

I've seen a forum (click here) that recommends doing something but I'm not sure if i'm supposed to just type it in? I'm reluctant to muck about with the registry.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

You don't have to go into the registry to a register a dll,AaronDavies, just go to Start > Run, and type/paste in:

regsvr32 vbscript.dll

and click OK. You should then get verification that it succeeded. Then try 4od again.

If you can't see the Run Comand on the Start menu in Vista ....

1. Right click on your taskbar and select Properties.

2. Click on the Start Menu Tab and then select Customize.

3. Scroll through the list and check the Run Command check box.

4. Hit OK a few times and it is back.
