Erratic Screen Display

Here's a weird one; since early last night the display on my vdu screen keeps shrinking and expanding, not constantly but often enough to be a distraction. Display Settings etc have'nt been changed & as far as I'm aware the Graphics card is working (I have a Agp Graphics card and onboard graphics (nforce mobo). which have been fitted for 2 years with no problems at all, I downloaded the lastest nvidia driver and for some reason display settings listed the display as default monitor, I re-installed the original driver (using the cd), and this re-instated my 7600 GT card, but the original problem still exists.

I have Kaspersky 9 and have carried out several virus checks, all appears clean.

Any ideas please ?.

Do you have another monitor you can try in order to rule that out?

Also have you tried System Restore?

No, sadly only the one monitor, rule what out ?

To rule out a faulty monitor.
