Erradicating confidential Information

  Habsish 08:29 03 May 08

Stored on your computer in various locations is information concerning your usage, which may be confidential.

For example Internet history and recent files. Where else might information be stored that can be accessed and found by others with the knowledge and possibly the right software?

Ideally this information should be shredded or possibly you should burn your hard drive if you are paranoid about it?

How do you increase the odds of maintaining your confidential information from prying eyes?
