I have an Old (1995) Acer Computer.I have tried everything to access windows on there but failed.
It doesnt have aCDRom Drive only a floppy drive.
If I erase all the data and applications on the HD and then installed a CDRom would I be able to install windows by using a windows startup floppy.

What you suggest should work but.................
From the age of the computer it may not be worthwhile.

The whole system will be very slow, and may not cope with anything more advanced than 98SE.

RAM may be a problem too the original type SIMMS? being unobtainabe or expensive, the motherboard may be unable to accept more, or cope with a suffiently large HD.
