From previous thread, now found that fault is due to USB MFP error. anyone know why this is. windows is fully there a way in simple terms how to cure this.

I presume you did close all running programs ( even those in the background ) virus checkers even defender

If not close them all down remove all traces of epson then reinstall. Dont plug your usb connecter in when the screen first appears wait untill the second screen telling you it has failed to find your printer, this should have an option to retry.

turn on the printer let it run its tests untill its ready Put your usb lead in and press retry
