Epson Printer failure in Ubuntu Linux

Have recently changed OS to Ubuntu.Runs very well in all respects except that my Epson expression XP202 won't work.CD not recognised & model not in Drivers list when trying to add new printer.any ideas?

Before you try below, have you tried booting your system and when it's booted, plugging in the printer. You should get an option to go on-line and find the drivers I think. I can't confirm that, as although I'm a long term user of Linux, I don't use Ubuntu.

Alternatively, you can manually install the driver.

You can find the drivers for your printer here.

Choose one of the Debian packages (32 bit or 64 bit), depending on your system.

Just make sure you're clear on how to install them - the procedure is different to Widows.
