I have just received an Epson DX6050 as a birthday present. I don't know how economical it is. I desperately need a printer (and a scanner) and I don't want to spend too much on new cartridges. Is this a good solution. I have just one day to change my present with another printer and/or scanner. Please help.

Hi potlach

Set of 4 compatable cartridges for your printer are £6.99 from Discdepot, thats if the printer is manufactured after march 2007, here's the link click here
compatables are £6.70 for four if manufactured before March 2007 click here.

That's just one site there are many more to choose from, so your printer should be fairly cheap to run.
