Epson 1250 scanner, colour problem

  the hick 13:41 30 Nov 03

When scanning colour photos on my Epson 1250, it seems to enhance any blue in the colours, so the final scan is not quite accurate. Is it possible to correct this, and if so, how can I change this in the settings? Also, if it can be changed, is it possible to easily revert to the default settings?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Yes it can be done but you need an Image Editor like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. Cutdown versions of both these programmes were given away for free on some PC Magazine CDs. Photoshop Elements 2 is very good but I got it for free with my Epson 1290 printer.
