Entering a tick in a cell in Excel

Please can anyone advise if there is a simple way to insert a tick (i.e. meaning correct)in a cell.
I do not mean tick in the sense it is used in charts.

Defies me to find a way, short of finding clip art to download.

Use the font windings - there are a few ticks in that font

You can make one, it's a run command to get to the program. I'm trying to remember ...

You can select a particular font for each cell individually, Monotype Sorts also has ticks. You just need to find which key equates to a tick (I think it is 4 in Monotype Sorts
