Encrypted Photos

Hi, I need some advice:

I have some encrypted pictures on my computer that I cannot open.

I encrypted them with Windows XPSP2 NTFS right click encryption and stored them on my external hardrive.

I then formated my computer and re-installed XPSP2. The files (that are still on my external hard drive) will not display the picture. The files (green for encrypted) will open.

I hope someone can help as I would like to get these pictures back

Thanks in advance for your help

Benjamin

If you are talking of removing the encryptation on the files, simply copy the files to a disk which has a fat32 or any other file system, it should remove the encryptation.
If you are speaking of something else, please provide more details.
good luck!
